The chatbot acts as a virtual assistant for the City, helping answer common questions and guiding users to the right information quickly. Whether you’re looking for:

  • City department contact information

  • Utility and billing questions

  • Permits, licenses, or ordinances

  • Meeting agendas, events, or city services

…the chatbot can point you in the right direction without the need to search through multiple pages.

Available 24/7

Unlike regular office hours, the chatbot is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This means you can get answers when it’s convenient for you—early in the morning, late at night, or on weekends.

“Contact Us” Option

If the chatbot cannot fully answer your question, there is a built-in Contact Us option. This allows you to easily submit your inquiry so the appropriate City staff member can follow up with you.

To use the chatbot on the website, click the train icon in the bottom left corner of any page on mineola.com. In the City of Mineola app, select “More” and then tap “Mineola Chat Bot.”
