NatureFest is designed to inspire a love for the outdoors by connecting families—especially children—with nature through hands-on learning, wildlife encounters, cultural experiences, and outdoor recreation. Hosted at the Mineola Nature Preserve, the event promotes environmental awareness, celebrates the natural and cultural heritage of East Texas, and encourages healthy, active lifestyles in a fun, family-friendly setting.
